Design & Concept
Armabuild® is a range of prefabricated modular buildings manufactured from a
Hot-dipped galvanised steel substrate.
Each building is clad with Plastisol® box profile steel sheeting, riveted to a galvanised framed structure forming the Roof, Base and Wall End sections. These modular sections easily bolt together on assembly.
The building is designed to be mounted on a prepared concrete slab base, alternatively with our steel base panels it can be mounted on an unprepared base and levelled using small adjustable jack legs.
There are two sizes of Armabuild® nominally 2.4m wide and 1.8m wide; modules are in multiples of 2.0m lengths. Both widths have a 2.1m internal head height minimum with a mono sloping roof.

Specification
The frame is manufactured from Galvatite hot dip zinc-coated steel conforming to
BS EN10142: 2000 or BS EN10147: 2000.

The cladding is Colorcoat Plastisol® a prepainted steel, with a Galvatite substrate to BS EN10142: 2000 or BS EN 10147: 2000.
Colorcoat Plastisol®, manufactured by Corus, uses a multi-layer coating system, with a thick film primer to provide excellent corrosion resistance and an attractive textured topcoat, providing strong scratch and abrasion resistance. The reverse side has a high performance backing coat.


Options
A comprehensive range of colours for the cladding panels, subject to the range offered by Corus the manufacturers of Plastisol.

UPVC Double glazed windows with a variety of vandal resistant closures.
Fibreglass light sheet panels for the roof (Grade SAB3)

Three, five lever mortice locks, to the main door.

For a building that does not have a prepared base we offer a Steel base frame complete with wooden floor panels in Type C P5 & C P6 wood particleboard to
BS EN 312-5:1997 with adjusters capable of 150mm variation across the site.

Holding down points and anchors.
